Please note that this website will look quite terrible in Netscape Navigator 4.x and earlier. This site uses a technology called CSS for its visual style and layout, a technology integral to making websites that are accessible to all (including those visitors that require screen readers for visual impairment, etc). Netscape Navigator 4.x is over four years old and does not implement these basic accessibility technologies. We recommend that you update to the latest version of Netscape (or better yet, choose mozilla!)

Duke University Center for International Studies

The Duke University Center for International Studies, launched in 1964, is Duke University's major administrative structure for coordinating and promoting interdisciplinary international research, training and teaching. It was the home to many of Duke's international and area studies programs as they first developed. In spring 2000, the Center was designated one of ten National Resource Center for International Studies by the U.S. Department of Education.
