The Duke University Center for International Studies offers a wide range of programs to communities outside of Duke University. In general, all talks and seminars organized by DUCIS are open without charge to the public. In addition, DUCIS organizes several outreach programs annually. Recent programs have included the webstreamed presentation of “Debating Civilizations” at five North Carolina public libraries and the summer college teacher institute on “Globalization, Women and Development.”
